Mini Pom
The Mini Pom, or Miniature Pomeranian, is the even smaller version of the already tiny Pomeranian – a pocket-sized bundle of fluff and personality that has taken India by storm. While not a separately recognised breed, Mini Poms are selectively bred Pomeranians that weigh under 3 kg, making them one of the tiniest companion dogs available. Despite their teacup-like size, Mini Poms inherit all the boldness, vivacity, and charm of their standard-sized cousins. They are spirited, alert, and carry themselves with the confidence of a dog ten times their size. Their fluffy double coat, fox-like face, and bright, curious eyes make them irresistibly cute. 🫧 Care tips
- Handle with extreme care – their tiny bones are fragile and susceptible to injury from falls or rough play
- Brush their fluffy coat at least 3 times a week to prevent mats and tangles
- Feed small, frequent meals – their tiny stomachs cannot handle large portions and they are prone to hypoglycaemia
- Protect them from extreme heat and cold – their tiny body has difficulty regulating temperature
- Dental care is critical – toy breeds are extremely prone to dental problems
