🐾 Breed guide

Bull Terrier

The Bull Terrier is one of the most distinctive-looking breeds in the world, instantly recognisable by its unique egg-shaped head and muscular, stocky build. Bred in 19th-century England by crossing Bulldogs with Terriers, they were originally developed as fighting dogs but have since evolved into loyal, affectionate family companions. Bull Terriers are the comedians of the dog world – endlessly entertaining, full of energy, and known for their clownish antics. They have a strong, determined personality and a zest for life that is contagious. Despite their tough appearance, they are surprisingly sweet and crave human companionship. Bull Terriers form deep bonds with their families and can be very protective. In India, they are appreciated for their low-maintenance grooming, robust health, and entertaining personality. They do require firm, consistent training and plenty of exercise to channel their boundless energy. With the right owner, a Bull Terrier is an incredibly fun, loyal, and devoted companion.
