Bernedoodle
The Bernedoodle is a designer crossbreed that combines the best traits of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle – the result is an irresistibly charming, intelligent, and affectionate companion. First intentionally bred in 2003, Bernedoodles have rapidly become one of the most sought-after hybrid breeds worldwide. They inherit the Bernese Mountain Dog's loyal, gentle, and goofy personality along with the Poodle's intelligence and low-shedding coat. Bernedoodles come in three sizes – Tiny (Toy Poodle cross), Miniature, and Standard – offering options for every living situation. Their signature tricolour coat of black, white, and tan is stunningly beautiful, though they come in other colour combinations as well. Bernedoodles are known for their playful, sometimes clownish behaviour and their deep attachment to their families. In India, they are gaining popularity among families seeking a hypoallergenic, friendly, and adaptable companion. They are wonderful with children, get along with other pets, and have a gentle disposition that makes them excellent therapy dogs.

🫧 Care tips
- Brush their wavy or curly coat at least 3–4 times a week to prevent mats
- Professional grooming every 6–8 weeks is essential to maintain coat health

- Keep them cool during hot Indian summers – their thick coat can cause overheating
